中央の翻訳プラットフォームを確立してeLearningコンテンツのローカライズを迅速化する。

導入のプロセス
Established a central in-house translation team (from 2022) and migrated workflows to Smartcat workspace. Created templates and project settings, imported Articulate XLIFF files and video subtitles (with automatic extraction), used Smartcat AI translation with regularly trained AI engines, stored and maintained translation memories and glossaries centrally, and collaborated via comments and live editor with internal and external reviewers in real time.

Translating eLearning courses using Smartcat AI and Smartcat Editor with live video preview; editing source subtitle text before translation; using translation memories and glossaries; creating templates for projects; inviting reviewers and assigning work within the Smartcat workspace; leveraging AI translation and generative AI action edits.
社内の反応
Reviewers appreciated live video preview and the ability to see corrections saved to central translation memories; in-house reviewers experienced lower number of corrections and faster, less labor-intensive editing; reviewers value that their work is retained in central TMs.
今後の展望
Continue training and retraining Smartcat AI to develop translation memories and glossaries; take full advantage of Smartcat AI features including AI translation, generative AI action edits, course-authoring platform support, inviting external providers to central workspace, and ongoing technical support.
